Hubby and I are starting to look at Texas for retirement. Is there anywhere in Texas that isn't real human in summer? Also. property taxes seem high. Is there any relief for seniors?

Thanks

The further you get away from the Gulf the lower the humidity. In this link you can see that west Texas and northern Texas are the driest parts of the state. http://www.usairnet.com/weather/maps/current/texas/relative-humidity/

Texas has a lot of interesting places to retire, although relatively few in those areas. See our Texas Directory http://www.topretirements.com/active_adult_communities/Texas.html
