| I noticed there was one post asking what people thought of Grand Junction, CO as a retirement community but there was not 1 reply. Someone must have an opinion and I'd like to hear it as I'm thinking of Grand Junction as a retirement choice. |

| GJ has the merit of being less expensive than Boulder or Denver. But if you decide to live here be prepared for a small town experience. People used to a small city might feel isolated. There isn't a whole lot to do other than outdoor recreation. Although we're the biggest town in the area folks who need a really big shopping fix might have to drive 4 hours to Denver. But if you like outdoors, small towns, and need to feel like you are near the wild, Grand Junction will fit the bill nicely. You might pop over to City-Data.com Forums and search on Grand Junction for more on what other people think. |
