We see an awful lot of marketing to people in or approaching retirement that arrives with the assumption that we are OLD! As in senior, senior citizen, retiree. Those are the words - but the pictures they use are even worse. In their implications, we are a: geezer, Viagra addict, fartus americanus antiquitious... and worse

So please help us out by telling us how you think baby boomers ought to be addressed at this time of our lives (pushing 60, or 50 anyway):

Thanks

That's the trouble with being in your 20's or 30's - too much categorization going on in the head. They're right, we are old and undoubtedly we called people our age seniors when we are younger. But, if you are trying to market somebody something, talk to them in the language and with the images that flatter them. At least that's my opinion. Shocked

Some of these terms seem downright insulting - seniors, yuck. Call me just about anything but "heh you!"

And pretty please don't call me a senior for heaven's sakes
