Gainesville wins lots of awards because its so livable. It's a real, diverse town. Sure there is plenty of growth and development, but it seems controlled. The presence of the beautiful University of Florida campus is the heart of the city. It gives it a youthful ambience, restaurants, culture, and a livable quality that is missing in many other Florida cities
