I have lived in Nacogdoches for over six years.
I was happy to find:
- many friendly people who were glad I arrived
- retail sufficient to my needs
- a 'right-sized' community: I can get everywhere in 20 minutes or less
- an affordable place to live
- wonderful natural beauty
- a moderate climate. I don't own a snow shovel
- lots of home-grown businesses alongside the major brands
