I’m really enjoying your website. Naturally, I searched on Vero and found that it was rated low for cultural events. Thought you should know that Vero is one busy place when it comes to culture. Riverside Park has plays, concerts, speakers’ forums and a wonderful art museum. You might want to check out www.verobeach.com to get a sense of what I’m talking about.
Every weekend we find ourselves in the park for things like a Boston Pops concert, an art show, a play. The park is large with public boat launches, tennis courts, barbecue areas and it’s right on the Intercoastal with its own war memorial island. Really, really lovely. We also have a big oceanographic institute, a botanical garden, and at least for one more season, the Dodgers.

I agree with you about VB.com, jfb48, when it comes to events. Another place to look for events and activities is the local chamber of commerce - Indian River Chamber of Commerce
I've talked to a few tourists and part-time residents who tell me they've tried using VB.com to find local businesses, but they're surprised to see that there's only about 400 businesses on their site. Makes Vero Beach look like Mayberry! I suggest some yellow page directories or a local site similar to the chamber: Vero Beach Business Directory
Hope that helps.
