I'm not sure nation-wide, but up here in MN, I do think we have not hit the bottom yet, I assume that's pretty much true nation-wide. Perhaps with a new president next year we might (hopefully) begin to see some positive economy numbers. I've watched my own personal retirement porfolio decrease by over 9% since december, I know others much worse off, and real estate here is off by closer to 15-20% of what it was a year ago.

So, time to buy? Sure, if you have $$, anytime in the next 12 months would be a good risk, I would think. Probably even better is to wait another 6 months or so and see where we're at then. Time to sell? Probably not.
