How do I make arrangements over the next 6 months or so, to visit some of the Retirement Communities in Boulder? Is there a central brochure or agency or agent who could give me some help and guidance?

Great question, Ruth. A lot of people wonder the same thing. Here is what I would suggest:
1. Look on Topretirements on the pull-down menu near the top center of the page - "Top Active Communities". Select the State you are interested in. For Top Active Communities you will find Boulder and there are 3 active adult communities listed there where you can find a lot of good information. Our Top Communities and Showcase Communities have even more valuable help.
2. In many of our city reviews you will find a section on "Helpful Links". We often list the Chamber of Commerce website there. The Boulder Chamber of Commerce is at http://www.boulderchamber.com. Generally speaking, the various Chambers of Commerce list the contact info for their realtor members, who are likely to be good sources of information. You can also write or call the chambers, who will send you information.
3. Post a question on this or other Discussion Forums, asking others to share information about what are the best communities in and around Boulder (or any town you are interested in). Use the State section of this website to find various towns.
4. Come on out to Boulder (or wherever) and look in the paper for ads, cruise around various neighborhoods, and drop in on some realtors who are handing retirement communities to get the personal touch. They work for your business, so take advantage (respectfully) of their expertise.
5. Good luck, and happy hunting.[/url] _________________ Site Gadfly - Enjoy the site - and post frequently!
