There are plenty of retirement homes in colorado and one can always make the best selection that serves your needs. Besides enjoying activities like mountain climbing in Clorado's Fourteeners and White water Rafting, you will be benefited by the developed health care and affordable cost of living of the place.

I agree with retirement planner that Colorado is a stellar place to retire. All of the outdoor activities and towns that are a lot more livable, plus the scenery make it tough to beat. But i think a lot of people overlook some states that offer very similar attractions - New Mexico, Idaho, and Wyoming. These states generally have a lower cost of living too.
