MOST OF THESE COMMUNITIES HAVE GOLF COURSES AND MAKE YOU PAY FOR IT. NOT ALL RETIRED PERSONS ARE INSTERED IN GOLFING. I WOULD SAY MOST PEOPLE 55+ HAVE NO INTERESTED IN GOLF WHY BE FORCED TO PAY FOR IT.

ALSO WHY DON'T THE BUILDERS HAVE PLANS THAT MOST PEOPLE CAN AFFORD. YOU DO NOT NEED 2 GARAGES. LAY OUT PLANS FOR HOMES THAT MAKE SENSE FOR OLDER PEOPLE. BATH TUBES ARE OUT, HAVE A LARGE SHOWER WITH A TILED AREA THAT YOU CAN SIT ON AND TAKE A SHOWER. MOSTS COUPLES NEED 2-1/2 BATHROOMS, BOTH NEED SHOWERS AND ONE COULD HAVE A BATH IS YOU WANT. KITCHEN AREA THAT CAN FIT ONE TABLE AND A DINING ROOM FOR ONE TABLE ALSO. INCLUDE A GREAT ROOM WHICH IS ABOUT 16ft x 22ft. THE MOST EXPENSIVE HOUSE SHOULD BE $220,000 AND INEXPENSIVE ONE AT $140000 TO $180000 NO MORE. REMEMBER MOST PEOPLE LOST MORE THAN 1/2 OF THEIR 401K'S.

Jerry, i like your suggestions about what our future homes should look like. For me, give me a home on one floor, thank you.

As far as golf courses, some communities let you pay for golf separately, a la carte. That's a lot better for non-golfers - and you get to look at the course too (if you like the look)
