This post will publish user-reported issues on TR's new Retirement Ranger, along with solutions:
Issue 1: Once a report is generated I am presented with lists of suggested communities. However, I have found that after the first choice, if I want to look at another community in the report, it sometimes will not be shown, instead I am sent back to fill out another questionnaire.
Solution: If this happens to you again you can use the "Recent Results" button at the top left of the quiz. That will bring you to your results again. I tried logging out and logging in again and that worked too - i came back to a new quiz but "Recent Results" brought me to the results again. To login again go to http://www.topretirements.com/retirementranger/
Issue 2: I tried to answer the quiz and take the test but it won't allow me my e-mail address. Says it's not valid when it really is.
Solution: Sorry you experienced this problem. For some reason your account had not been activated (perhaps you didn't get or didn't respond to the email announcing your report). For another, your account showed no email address. Active now, please try again. if you have problems let me know and i will set up your account again and fix the problem.
Issue 3: I took the test again and keep getting pop up window saying invalid e-mail address when I try to submit.
Solution: Unfortunately this error happens in certain cases, we are working on it. It could be that the email you confirmed with didnt match the first one you entered. Or it could be that you entered your user name and password correctly but used an email address that didn't match the one in your record. If you keep experiencing this problem contact us and we delete your account and enter a new one for you.Sorry about the trouble.
Issue 4: All worked well up to this point. But when i got the "Results" email the "click on this link" is not blue in my email, and doesn't seem to be a link. When I copy and paste, it just takes me to Ranger Sign In.
Solution: This problem has been corrected, thanks for mentioning it.If you have a similar problem in future: If the screen wants you to log in, do so. Go to "Recent Results" link at top link and you won't have to retake quiz.
Issue 5: looking for temperate climate and new york culture with middle urban city accommodations. Where should i look?
thank you

Issue 6: I am interested in even more specific selections - for example "culture" is quite broad. What can you do for me there?
Solution: Good idea. As we include more "best" towns in the database we will look for ways to get more specific.
