Oxford ct : Connecticut

What Oxford CT is like for active adults
Oxford Connecticut is one of the fastest growing towns in the state. Residents of nearby Fairfield County have discovered its charm and lower housing prices, which are among the reasons why the population grew 25% between 2000 and 2005. The town of Oxford actually consists of 3 communities: Quaker Farms, Riverside and Oxford Center.  It is west of New Haven.

Active retirees have also moved here thanks to the presence of several over 55 communities (see link at top right). In late 2009 the median price of homes here was in the $350's, although many are higher priced than that. Aerial photograph of Waterbury-Oxford Airport courtesy of Wikipedia and ZookPS3.
