| Westbook is a charming small New England town on Long Island Sound. It has a lovely little downtown with a square in the center. This is a big sailing and boating town with many large marinas. The area is fortunate to have a major outlet mall in town and one other in the adjoining town of Clinton. The average ages of 41 is higher than the state average. |

| While Westbrook itself has some festivals, a new library, and some interesting shops, nearby Old Saybrook, Madison, and New Haven offer more cultural opportunities. There are some nice restaurants in town including one of CT's best, Cafe Routier, as well as the pasta heaven called Sal's. |
