Frederica is a very small (less than 800) Delaware town just south of Dover and fairly near the Delaware River Bay. Formerly agricultural, the area is transitioning into suburbs and active adult communities are being built here as well.
There are active adult and 55+ communities in the area. Home prices have been volatile recently, with City-Data suggesting the median fell below $100,000 in mid 2009. The Zillow Home Value Index stood at $131,000 in late 2009. |
