Roseburg is a small town in southwestern Oregon with a steady population of 21,000. The average age is higher than average, about 39. Roseburg is an old mill town where the mill has closed down. Some people like the town, whereas others complain on forums about drug use and unemployment. It has a reputation as being a retirement town. Roseburg has a Parks Department and a 9-hole golf course. The area is known for outdoor recreation such as hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking. It is also close to wineries and not far from the Oregon coast.
