| What Haig Point,Daufuskie Island is like for active adults |
Haig Point is on the northeast tip of Daufuskie Island, SC. It is secluded, safe, and nature abounds. The island is without a bridge but Haig Point has its own private ferry system makeing 15 round trips per day. We are 1 nautical mile from Harbor Town, Sea Pines, Hilton Head, SC. Residents are not permitted cars so we drive in golf carts. The Club has 27 golf holes, 6 tennis courts, 2 swimming facilities, a fitness center, equestrian center,biking and walking trails,freshwater & ocean fishing, kayaking,2 dining restaurants,and a"mansion used for billiards,game tables, and special events. Hi temperature in the past week(Jan4th-12th) have ranged between 66 and 75. Our paradise is expensive but well worth the ambiance,serenity,the historical architectural remnants,our amenities and a community of neighbors and friends that most would envy.
