What people are saying about Boerne

Boerne, TX
We live in Boerne, TX, and I am retired. However, we were already living here when I retired. Boerne is a nice place to retire, as is much of Texas. We are considering moving because the summers here are terrifically humid. Also, it is rather expensive for most people to live here. You need to update your information on Property Tax on a $200,000 home, as it is considerably higher than your information suggests. Our home was last appraised at around $250,000, and our annual property tax is over $4,200; very expensive by most standards. Of course we pay no state income tax. :-) Editor's note: Thanks very much for commenting on the Boerne review at Topretirements. com. I can't tell you how helpful it is to have someone who actually lives in a place provide their perspective - thank you! We have corrected the property tax info since our figure was too low.
