Crystal Beach is an unincorporated town near Port Bolivar on the southeast coast of Texas, in Bolivar County. The Bolivar Peninsula features 27 miles of pristine beaches, famous for fishing and camping. The Bolivar Lighthouse dates back to 1872. It is a popular destination for retirees as well as tourist destination. It is not far Galveston as the crow flies but a very long drive - since there is a gap in the barrier island between them.
