| What South Hero is like for active adults |
| South Hero is a very small town of less than 2,000 on an island in northwestern Vermont. It has a stunning location almost in the middle of Lake Champlain, connected to the rest of Vermont by Route 2. It is a popular resort, particularly in the summer. It combines rural and lake. Although you can live here in winter, it is cold, windy, and sometimes difficult transportation to mainland. Grand Isle is another town on the same island. |
