Manchester Community College is located here and is the largest community college in the state.

Manchester has several restaurants and pubs.  There are four museums which include The Fire Museum, and the Cheney Homestead Museum which is the house of the founders of the Cheney Silk Company.  The town is host to the Manchester Road Race which is held every Thanksgiving Day, and has over 10,000 participants.  For all sorts of cultural venues, Hartford is just a few miles away.

Manchester Memorial Hospital is located here.

Bradley International Airport is about 15 minutes away.
