What it's Like to Retire in Storrs

Storrs is a college town of about 11,000 in north central Connecticut, home to the University of Connecticut and the UCONN Huskies.  While the climate is not so great and the campus is not the most beautiful, it is located in a pretty part of Connecticut.  For UCONN Husky fans the women's and men's basketball teams provide plenty of excitement. The campus also provides a regular schedule of cultural events. The town was named after Charles and Augustus Storrs, brothers who donated the land and first funded UConn.
