Clermont is a western suburb of Orlando, Florida. Clermont's 2006 population was 22,097 at a 2006 census. The town boasts a historic downtown district that remains similar to what it was 50 years ago. The Florida Citrus Tower is a local landmark. There are many big box stores in town and the population is rapidly growing.

Many active adult communities are in the area. Home prices are on the high side for the Orlando area, averaging abotu $230,000 in mid-2008.
