Griffin Georgia is a small town of 24,000 having a strong revival. It is located about 25 miles south of Atlanta. The western legend Doc Holliday was born and established his dental practice here. The town has been featured in numerous books and movies, most notably "Driving Miss Daisy".
It is home to one of the largest master planned communities in the country, Peachtree City (see Griffin Active Communities" link at right). The median price of a home in Griffin in mid 2009 was about $100,000. |
