Madison is a popular place for all kinds of people to live in, it has a more cosmopolitan feel than most small towns in Georgia. It has a very nice downtown. Madison often gets mentioned in the same breath with Milledgeville and Lake Oconee, 2 other hot retirement spots in the Atlanta area. Home prices vary tremendously by size and neighborhood.
