Warner Robins is a rapidly growing town of 70,000 about 15 miles south of Macon, Georgia. It is right off I-75 in central Georgia. Robins Air Force Base, one of the largest employers in the State of Florida, is located in Warner Robins. Business Week named Warner Robins the "Best Place to Raise a Family" in Georgia.

What is special about Warner Robins

The presence of the Air Force base is a positive factor in terms of economic and social diversity.  Warner Robins is growing which is positive. There is a satellite campus of Macon State College. The town is working on redeveloping the town center. The game of Tee Ball was invented in Warner Robins.

People from the north not used to small town Georgia might have a hard time adjusting to Warner Robins (although some say it is more cosmopolitan than some other towns). The crime rate is above average.
