W.CH has an unusual street grid layout. Typically, streets are laid out East to West, and North to South. The streets here are laid out, Northeast to Southwest, and Northwest to Southeast. This was done so the Courthouse would receive some sunlight every day of the year. Numerous locations in the city are on the National Registry of Historical places. What people are saying about Washington Court House

Update
I do want to add that after living here for 6 months, that people need to be aware if you need any Medical Specialists, or \"further\" medical treatments you will be sent 35-50 minutes away to Columbus, or helicoptered to Columbus. They do not even deliver babies at their local hospital. Those that can leave, due to needing doctors.

I spent 3 weeks in WCH last summer and now call it home. I find the people very helpful and nice to be around. A very affordable city with low city income tax. I made a bad financial choice retiring in Florida and am glad I am nearer my children in Grove City. One day I can see myself moving in the Villas!

For Ohio weather, it is nearer to being the warmest spot in the State. It is considered Humid Subtropical climate! It is 35 minutes from Columbus Ohio.
