Rock Hill is a very fast growing community in north central South Carolina, south of Charlotte. The population is 71,000 and the household income $38,000.  It serves as a suburb to the Charlotte Metro. Rock Hill was formerly a textile town although that industry has been in serious decline. There are 3 colleges here including Winthrop College, a liberal arts institution with 7,000 students.
