| What Seneca is like for active adults |
Seneca is a community for people of all ages, but especially those that enjoy beautiful lakes, majestic mountains, peaceful surroundings and very nice people. It is a small town of 8,000, but with everything you need to make you comfortable. It is centrally located between Atlanta and Charlotte, with Greenville, SC and Highlands, NC less than one hour away. If sports or the lure of a university is important to you, Clemson University is the next town away. You will always enjoy the outdoors with our mild climate. Our community is also attractive due to the low property taxes and insurance rates, low crime rate, constantly improving healthcare and new retirement communities.
There are active adult communities in the area. Median home price was about$140,000 in mid 2009. |
