What it's Like to Retire in Collierville

Collierville is one of the fastest growing communities in Tennessee, as well as one of its most affluent suburbs (the average HH income is almost $100,000). This town of 45,000 is located in southwestern Tennessee, 20 miles from Memphis and Alabama.  Retirees are moving to Collierville because of its favorable tax climate, charming downtown, and great recreation. Fedex has a major training facility in town, and there is also a very large new mall - Avenue at Carriage Crossing (800,00 sq ft). The crime rate is low.
