Loveland is a rapidly growing community in southeatern Colorado near Fort Collins, Colorado. The population in 2006 was just over 60,000 and growing rapidly. It was originally an agricultural community famous for sugar beets and cherries. Denver is about 50 miles to the south. Loveland enjoys a very low crime rate and has been chosen for numerous awards as a great community to live in. There is a popular public arts program with 300 pieces of art. There are 2 community colleges in Loveland, which is home to many Evangelical Christians.

| In addition to numerous awards as a "best" place to live, Loveland isa big town for artists. Its Valentine remailing program, which packages Valentines with lines of verse and then remails them to the intended recipients. Outdoor recreation is outstanding with nearby mountains, state parks, and Rocky Mountain National Park. |

It is on the Colorado Front Range along the Big Thompson River Canyon. It is near the entrances to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. |

| Loveland has a well-deserved reputation as a town for art and artists. More than 300 public sculptures are in the Benson Sculpture Garden. There is an outdoor sculpture festival in August, as well as an art museum and galleries. |
