Meridian is a town 10 miles west of Boise, Idaho. The population is just over 75,000, more than a 1115% increase from 2000. Now the third largest city in Idaho (and its fastest growing), it is also a suburb of Boise. It is close to Idaho's mountains with outstanding recreational opportunities. It offers a diversified economic base since many major high tech companies are located in this area.
There are many active adult communities, along with developments that tend to attract this demographic (see link at right). Median home selling price in mid-2013, was about $210,000 according to City-Data.com
