| What Falconbridge is like |
| Falconbridge is a mixed generation community on the east side of Chapel Hill, just south of Durham. Falconbridge is a suburban community with 250 townhouses and 220 single family homes, with residents of mixed ages, including families with young children. This community is committed to aging in place: our initial focus was on community-building activities, and now we're working on the "Aging in Place" services. We use the CCRC model to judge our effectiveness.As we age we rely on mutual support that we can stay in our own homes and feel surrounded by a strong, caring social network. |
