Greeneville : Tennessee

What Greeneville is like for active adults
A progressive, diversified community nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in East Tennessee - a community abounding in natural scenic beauty, warm friendly people, a fascinating history and an unlimited variety of outdoor activities.

The second oldest town in Tennessee, Greeneville's ambiance comes from a mixture of the old, with brick-lined sidewalks fronting homes dating back to the 1700s and 1800s, to the new, with its state-of-the-art performing arts center and the U.S. District Courthouse.  Founded in 1783, the community is steeped in history as the home of 17th president Andrew Johnson and frontiersman Davy Crockett.
