What people are saying about Tellico Village

Tellico Village
Tellico Village was originally designed 25 years ago to be second homes for vacationers so the homes built by Cooper Development were small (under 2000 sq ft) with walk out basements. About 12 yrs ago larger homes were built as TV became a retirement community. If you like fishing, hunting or boating you will like it here. If you are used to larger cities you will be bored! Nicest dept store is Dillards so no Nordstrom, SFA, or even Macy's in the area. Knoxville is about 35 miles away but not much is downtown other than UT.The Knoxville airport is very small and impossible to get direct flights to either coast. Everything is a drive--20 miles to Kroger, 30 miles to shopping mall, 20 miles to nicer restaurants. Three golf courses available for TV residents at reasonable fees, no country club mbrshp. Restaurants within TV are not that good.
