Amenities include two 18-hole golf courses, 6 swimming pools, a private beach, tennis courts, recreation centers, fitness center, senior center, horseshoe pits, two nature trails, and seven lakes for boating or fishing. A vibrant community, Cherokee VIllage has over 100 clubs and service organizations, 24 churches.

| Cherokee Village is a fully developed community with all of the amenities and clubs you would expect. Prices are very reasonable and the scenery of the Ozarks is especially beautiful. |

| Many posts have discussed the isolation of the community - how far it is from a large town and the fact that northerners don't always feel welcome. Others have complained about aggressive enforcement of rules by the Home Owners Association. |
