Dayville : Connecticut

What Dayville is like for active adults
Dayville is a very tiny town that is part of the town of Killingly in eastern Connecticut. It is close to Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and the large Indian Casinos - Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casino.  This part of rural Connecticut has deep forests and rolling hills, it is much less densely settled than the rest of the state.

Some active adult communities are being built in this region because of the availability of land (see link at right). Median home values in Killingly were about $165,000 in late 2009. Photo of Dayville courtesy of Wikipedia and Marc N. Belanger.
