Farmington's Public Library is one of the newest and best in Connecticut. It is a beautiful town with some extremely graceful homes. Miss Porters is one of the most prestigious prep schools for girls in New England. Crime is low.

Farmington is located southwest of Hartford and north of New Haven. The average July high temperature is 83 and the average January low is 14. The wettest month is september (5").

Restaurants & Cultural Scene

The Farmington Library is one of the best in the country for a town of this size.  The culture of New Haven and Hartford is just a  short drive away.
