Serious math error
\"The population is just over 75,000, more than a 1115% increase from 2000\" is terribly wrong. Meridian\'s population in the year 2000 was 36,727. In 2010 (apparently when this page was last edited), its population was 75,602, and today its population is around 90,000 to 100,000. At the stated number of 75,000 (2010), the increase from the year 2000 was only about 100%, far from 1115%. Even today, the increase from the year 2000 is only about 200%.

Additional Info
There are several other hospitals near Meridian. St. Luke\'s and St. Alphonusus are very large hospitals. Also, you may be far away from other cities but we have a wonderful airport and can get about anywhere. Crime is SO much lower than Redding, CA where we came from two years ago. Yes it is growning fast!
