| What Centreville is like for active adults |
Centreville is a small town of just under 2000 people and the county seat of Queen Anne's County. Located, not surprisingly, in the center of the state, it is a charming small town. It is home to one of the oldest courthouses in the country.
The old town has a plentiful stock of victorian and other older homes with wrap-around porches, along with the interesting infrastructure of a town that goes back to colonial days.
Home prices were very volatile over the past few years, falling back dramatically to the low $200's in 2008. It is easy to see why retiring baby boomers would be attracted to this town. There is at least 1 active adult community in Centreville. |
