What Westlake is like for active adults
Westlake is an upscale surburban community west of Cleveland Ohio. Population is about 31,000.  Crocker Park is a lifestyle center located on Crocker Road. It is an outdoor mall with areas for recreation and socializing. The park is based on a small French town-type setting. There are also apartments and offices above some stores and restaurants. Townhouses are located on the southwest corner.

What is special about this retirement community
Westlake is an affluent island in northern Ohio, close to the lake for recreation.  Westlake hosted the 2006 USA Broomball National Championship. Crime is almost non-existent.

Westlake is 12 miles from Cleveland in northwestern Ohio  along Lake Erie. The average July high temperature is 81 and the average January low is 19. The wettest month is June (4").
