Conway : South carolina

What Conway is like for active adults
Conway is a fast growing small town in northern South Carolina, about 20 miles from Myrtle Beach.  The town grew about 20% in the past 7 years thanks to an influx of retirees and active adults.  Active adult communities spread out in all directions.  Being adjacent to Myrtle Beach is a good thing because it provides an anchor and easy access to the amazing shopping, beaches, golf courses, and cultural venues of Myrtle Beach.

Conway has several buildings on the National Register of Historic Places- including City Hall - designed by Robert Mills who was also designed the Washington Monument. Conway's  Main Street USA project has given Conway's downtown a revitalized appearance with quaint shops and bistros. The Riverwalk is  big attraction with many great dining opportunities.

Average home prices in Conway have been holding reasonably steady at about $140,000.
