What people are saying about Leesburg

Living in Leesburg
My wife and I lived in downtown Leesburg from 1977 to 2005 and raised two children and I honestly can not imagine retiring there. It is a great place to raise kids with an excellent school system and lots of activities for children but not so much for adults. An average commute to DC (26 miles) is over 2 hours each way and housing and taxes are really high. My home had a tax value of $350k and my real estate taxes were $6300 per year.
