What people are saying about Manitou Springs

Where specifically would you suggest I live within a reasonable distance to Denver when I am from out of state, I know no one but do have daughters living in Cherry Creek, do not wish to live too close to my children to interfere with their family life but yet wish to be a part of my wonderful family when desired or needed, want to live in a very active adult community with great conversation, positive attitude and desire to enjoy life to its fullest? I presently live in my home out of the country though will return to USA when I believe I have found the best environment for me to grow intellectually, physically and mentally. I love the water, culture, outdoors, wildlife, music, wine, books, games, skiing, research, traveling,my family & friends and my little canine. I need your help as searching the web and visiting areas do help, personal opinions & why are most important when narrowing the list. I prefer to rent.
