What it's Like to Retire in Stamford

Stamford is  a busy commercial hub and residential city in the southwest corner of Connecticut, very near the New York border. If you have ever driven or taken the train from  New York City to Boston you almost had go through this wealthy town of over 125,000.   Many, many corporate headquarters are located here thanks to its easy access to New York City. It has some nice residential sections and a long coastline on Long Island Sound. Photo of downtown courtesy of Wikipedia and DBen.
