Hollywood Beach is a very popular Hollywood, Florida, neighborhood and known for its one-of-a-kind boardwalk that extends over two miles along the Atlantic Ocean. The brick-paved promenade is popular with walkers, joggers, hikers and bikers, and is lined with restaurants, hotels and parks. Zillow reports the median sale price of a home in Hollywood to be $418,470 in mid-2022.  But in Hollywood Beach, which is made up of many waterfront highrises and condos, the median sale price is in the high $300's.

The Beach was recognized as the "Most Innovative Beach" by the Clean Beach Council in Washington D.C., and has been designated a "Blue Wave Beach", which places it among the nation's cleanest, safest, and user-friendly beaches.  The Boardwalk on Hollywood Beach is considered one of the best in the country, and features oceanfront parks, resorts, music, cafes and shops.

Living on the beach can be pricey; during the tourist season, November through April, the population swells; summers are hot.

The average January temperature is 69 degrees, July's average is 82 degrees.

The 2.5 mile boardwalk on Hollywood Beach offers over 50 restaurants, boutiques, and resorts, and presents a weekly live music series. The Art and Culture Center is in downtown Hollywood and features contemporary visual and performing arts shows. Hollywood also boasts 60 parks and several golf courses.



Hollywood's crime rate is above the national average, with most incidents involving theft.


Medical Facilities

Memorial Regional Hospital, one of the largest in Florida, is located in Hollywood.



The Hollywood Trolley runs everyday between downtown and the beach; Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport is just 10 minutes away; Tri-Rail connects with Amtrak and offers shuttle service to the airport; Port Everglades, a premier cruise port, is also just 10 minutes away.
