There are active communities in the area, albeit with more of an urban slant (See link at left). reports the median home value was $1,049,548. in mid-2021. The National Association of Realtors reports the median sale price in the Washington Metro area was $498,100 in the 1st quarter of 2021.  Real estate taxes on a $200,000 home (assuming you could find one!) would be less than $2000.

Medical Facilities

Suburban Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, services the area. Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is located here.



Washinton's Metro services Bethesda. The town is about average for walkability when compared to other towns.
