Minneapolis is the major city in Minnesota with almost 400,000 residents. It has major league sports teams, a vibrant economy, and one of the great public universities, the University of Minnesota. The city not only has a number of beatiful lakes like Lake Calhoun, but it is also on the Mississippi River. It is one of the Twin Cities; St. Paul is immediately adjacent.
