Huron, Ohio, is located in the north-central part of the state in Erie County, with a population of 7,149 (2010 census). The average January temperature is about 27 degrees.  The average July temperature is about 72 degrees. Huron does experience winter, and has an average snowfall of 16 inches.


Restaurants & Cultural Scene

Huron does have many parks and outdoor activities. Among them are Arts at the Amphitheater, Boppin on the Basin, and Movies by the River.  The town is located in a good spot as Sandusky is nearby to the west, and is known for Cedar Point, the roller coaster capital of the world.  Cleveland, to the east, offers all the culture and restaurants you want, along with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and 3 major league sports teams.



Huron has a low crime rate.

Cleveland International Airport is about 45 miles away; Amtrak is approximately 10 miles away in Sandusky.
