Tulsa is located in the northeast corner of Oklahoma, at the foot of the Ozark Mountains. It has a large number of lakes and hills, compared to the rest of the state, and contains more than half of its parks. Tulsa is considered Oklahoma's cultural and arts center, as it is home to two world-renowned art museums, along with professional opera and ballet companies. Thanks to the vast oil wealth it accumulated as the headquarters for many oil companies, Tulsa is also a college town with over a dozen institutions of higher learning, which include the University of Tulsa, Oral Roberts University, and Rogers State University. In 2012, Business Week ranked Tulsa as one of the top 50 best cities in America.
