What people are saying about Florence

We\'ve been through Oregon and camped in Florence at the casino mentioned in this article many times. We\'ve always found Florence to be a delightful place to visit with a great river east of town. We think that the hot ticket would be to get a small home or RV lot 5-10 miles east of town where the fog wouldn\'t be as much of a factor but there was still access to the river. The old town is very nice with some excellent restaurants and cute shops. It\'s a friendly town near other wonderful coastal towns.
